Designed for a relaxed fit, in breathable silk, the shirt features a neat collar, a concealed button placket and elbow-length cuffed kimono sleeves for a laid-back silhouette.

Marble Print Silk

Varana's bespoke, marble print silk is handmade using the UNESCO listed Ebru technique - the traditional Turkish art of creating patterns by sprinkling and brushing oil based pigments onto a pan of oily water and then transferring the patterns onto paper.

This traditional Turkish art has been adapted and translated onto fabrics by the craftspeople of India. The marbling fabric is developed based on the unique hand made technique of aqueous surface design, using water as a medium of transfer printing on the fabric surface.

The nature of this print makes each garment a unique piece.
