Cutwork and Appliqué work is a traditional craft in India, which is hand embroidered, used to create sheer fabrics using thin cotton fabric to create textiles for garments and home. These fabrics traditionally were made entirely using hand embroidery to create these light weight fabrics best suited for the warm climate in India, especially in the desert regions on Rajasthan.
